Windsock Medium Size

PVC  medium windsock made in New Zealand by us, suitable for  aerodrome or large airstrip. Matches large 660mm diameter frame.

Dimensions: 2.7 metres long (660 throat size)  25 knots fully extended, no "flick" in the tail to indicate 35 knot wind. PVC has a polyester core and PVC spread coating, PVC is incredibly durable and UV resistant, they are ideal for New Zealand conditions. Triple stitched end and heavy brass eyelets ensure longevity. Medium size windsocks are supplied for many smaller aerodrome operators. These wind direction indicators have been used throughout New Zealand for over twenty five years. Supplied with heavy polyester cord for attaching. 

Medium windsocks give wind indications at 3 knots and are fully extended at 25 knots.
