Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all products, repairs, services, and transactions completed through Ecosew.

By purchasing from Ecosew, you agree to these terms.

Products & Services

Ecosew provides:

  • custom canvas manufacturing
  • PVC fabrication
  • marine and industrial covers
  • repair services
  • outdoor protection products

Due to the custom nature of many products, final products may vary slightly from photographs, sketches, or examples shown online.

Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

Pricing may change due to:

  • material availability
  • freight increases
  • specification changes
  • customer-requested modifications

Additional work outside the original quoted scope may incur additional charges.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • accurate measurements
  • correct specifications
  • suitable installation information
  • fitment details where required

Ecosew is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect customer-supplied information.

Lead Times

Estimated production and repair timeframes are provided as guides only and may vary depending on:

  • workload
  • material supply
  • freight delays
  • seasonal demand

We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant delays where possible.

Repairs

Repair work is carried out on used materials that may already have:

  • UV degradation
  • weakened stitching
  • hidden wear
  • material fatigue

While repairs are completed professionally, Ecosew cannot guarantee the condition or lifespan of surrounding aged materials outside repaired areas.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under New Zealand law, Ecosew shall not be liable for:

  • indirect loss
  • consequential loss
  • business interruption
  • loss of use
  • freight delays
  • weather-related damage
  • incorrect installation by third parties

Liability is limited to the value of the product or service supplied.

Consumer Guarantees Act

Where products or services are supplied to consumers for personal use, the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies.

Where goods or services are supplied for business purposes, the parties agree that the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply to the extent permitted by law.

Intellectual Property

All website content, photographs, product designs, descriptions, and branding remain the property of Ecosew unless otherwise agreed.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
